Creating Userboxes

This page is a step-by-step procedure on how to make userboxes.

Step 1

Create a new page and call it Template:USERBOXNAME. Example being Template:Jarashipper.

(Replace "USERBOXNAME" with whatever you would like to call your userbox.)

Copy and paste this:

style="width:45px; height:45px; background: COLORNAME; text-align:center; font-size:14pt; font-color: midnightblack;" |

style="font-size:11pt; padding:4pt; line-height:1.25em;" | WRITETEXTHERE

Step 2

Where it says COLORNAME, delete it and write whatever color you want. Do the same for the next COLORNAME, and make it the same color.

For FILENAME. delete it and write the filename of the picture you want for the userbox, e.g. 84.jpg.

For WRITETEXTHERE, write the text you want. e.g. This user ships OutlawQueen!

To add a link in it, put around the word(s) that you would like to link (if it's an existing page. If you would like to link something and the title of the page is slightly different, do WHATYOUWANTITTOSAY, e.g. Emma

If your userbox features a GIF, then you need to remove the 100px next to the filename as it will only work if it is full-sized.

Step 3

Click publish and you should hopefully have your userbox!

Step 4

To use it, type in the template code on your page, with these brackets around it .

For example, you would write Once Upon a Time to get the userbox

Once Upon a Time title card.jpg
This user is a fan of Once Upon a Time!

If you want it on the userbox page, message our admins for permission.
